Show support for the Sully Co. Sheriff and let the Commissioners know you want a K-9!

A few months ago, the Sully County Sheriff's Office in Onida, South Dakota hired Deputy Sheriff Jordan Anderson.  Deputy Anderson purchased a K-9, Reggie, out of pocket with the understanding he would donate Reggie to the Sheriff's Office and, following completion of K-9 training, he would be able to use Reggie in an effort to keep the citizens of Sully County safe and the community drug free.

Since Deputy Anderson was hired, he and Reggie have completed K-9 school and become certified as a K-9 Team.

There's just one problem - the Commissioners and State's Attorney have now determined a drug dog isn't necessary in Sully County thus turning Onida and the surrounding community into a safe zone for criminals.  The Commissioners don't think the Sheriff's Office or the tax payers of Sully County should be responsible for arrested and prosecuting "pass through drug dealers" and that instead, the burden should be on the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

Sign this petition and show your support for the Sully County Sheriff's Office and let the Commissioners and State's Attorney know you won't stand idly by while they allow the drug problem in Sully County to continue to fester.
