Why this petition matters

Your Highness,

It has come to our concern that suffrage for women is a human right. Currently,  different groups of people are being prevented from voting. Women have been a part of those groups for years. Human rights belong to all of us; regardless of whether we’re male or female.

These rights include the freedom from violence and discrimination, the right to the best possible physical and mental health, the right to an education, the right to own property, the right to vote, and the right to an equitable salary. People say that men are given the right to vote because they are and would be violent and that women can’t because they go by rules and are constitutional. These are just excuses.

We as women are not able to speak up for situations that make us uncomfortable. Truly because we do not have the rights, no one listens to us or considers our opinions. Men receive better education and get higher authority than women. Why can’t women be in politics? Why do men have higher authority and power?  Women gave life to men, so why are we so looked down upon by our own blood? We all should accept that women are the same as men and no gender is inferior to another.

We women are expected to take care of the family, our husbands, and the house. We are very hardworking. You all think that us women do not have enough education which is why we are not “capable” of making a decision for the better of our country. We are not even given the right to education so how is that our fault.  Whether we have education or not, how does that affect our knowledge on deciding who we think we should vote for, it’s our own opinion. We should have rights. We deserve it. If men have them women should too.
