All students who attend Suffolk county community college are aware of the outbreak of the corona virus and how dangerous it is especially in around a college campus where a variety of students live in multiple different areas of Long Island. It is has recently been confirmed that Hofstra university, has been temporarily closed due to an outbreak of the virus. The virus is HIGHLY contagious and individuals who are known to have weakened immune systems, respiratory related issues, among other medical specificities. This means the virus renders NOBODY is immunity to it. So answer me this, why are we waiting for someone to get the virus instead of acting upon the situation while it is rapidly approaching our very campus here on Long Island. Let’s act upon this situation now as adults before YOUR the reason all students have to be nervous about there well being in there own home.
