We who sign this petition would like to show our support for American values and American businesses through American athletes. In our opinion it was a mistake to choose Megan Rapinoe to represent an American made business like Subway because she does not represent an athlete that loves America. We would like to suggest Tamyra Mensah-Stock as a possible replacement. When I saw Tamyra I saw an inspiration and a solution to a problem we are facing in America. Many Americans are being taught to hold contempt for our country. We are being taught disdain through negative athletes like Megan. Gold medal winning athletes like Tamyra will help to break that cycle of negativity. I do not feel good about eating at Subway when I see Megan Rapinoe in it's commercials. If I saw someone like Tamyra speaking for Subway and their products I would feel good about supporting Subway because she is a winner and she loves our country. We think athletes that spread negativity should not be rewarded. Show support for America through your voice and through those you choose to speak for you. Replace Megan Rapinoe with Tamyra Mensah-Stock as the official Subway spokeswoman.
