The petition is to support the pain of subclass 489 visa seekers who have been waiting for over 3 long years for their grants.

The government of Australia and the DHA terminated subclass 489 visa from December 2019 but all the applicants who were given invitations are still awaiting their grant.

All the applicants, had gone through all the necessary checks but only a few have heard back. 

Applicants are trying various things to reach out to the officials but to no avail.

These couple of thousand applicants are skilled and will add value to the economy of Australia. They are Engineers, Architects, Sales and Marketing professionals, Chefs, Joiners, Administration Managers, Teachers, etcetera.

If the DHA and the government of Australia could expedite the process of visa grant to them, it will definitely be a win-win, coz the necessary action will help Australian businesses fill the skill gap and businesses will thrive again like they were earlier.
