Today, Autumn Clark took a proposal to city counsel proposing we change the livestock ordinance to allow horses to be kept in town limits of Stuttgart, AR. This is not the first time it has been proposed but I think it is time for a change. If it were changed, it could bring tons of money into Stuttgart. Cross B Arena could have tons of barrel races and keep horses there overnight. This would result in riders and families going to our restaurants, hotels, local shops, etc. In my neighborhood, we have horses that are grandfathered in and they cause no issues. They are not loud and do not stink. Everyone loves them. Kids get to feed them and grow up knowing what it’s like to love animals. There is no reason that this ordinance cannot and should not be changed. Please sign if you support the change of this rule to allow horses in the city limits of Stuttgart, Arkansas.
