“We, the undersigned, call on the Mayor and Bristol City Council to urgently install two new road crossings in Stockwood. A recent near-fatal accident has clearly highlighted the need for a road crossing on Sturminster Road. Combined with this residents have long been after a much needed road crossing for Stockwood Lane. Both roads are residential, over 1.5 miles long and do not have any road crossings. Two road crossings will enable residents and children to get to the bus stops, shops, health centre, churches and school safely. It will safely join up Stockwood ward for pedestrians.
