Move dumpsters on Hansell Street and clean up Historic Downtown Marietta Square

My name is Nancy Steele. I leased a space on the Marietta Square at 104 Hansell Street February 1, 2017. There were city dumpsters near my space but unfortunately they were moved directly in front of my door by the trash collector driver. Next door to my space is "The House of Lu".
When the temperatures started to rise I began having an enormous filth fly problem invading my art studio. The restaurant next to me, "The House of Lu" has been complaining to the city for years to no avail.
Yesterday, a beautiful spring day I decided to walk around the square to see if there were any other businesses with dumpsters immediately in front of their doors.
What I discovered was more than a dumpster placement problem. It is a city wide filth problem with handling the amount of putrescible trash on a daily basis. When the temperatures rise, it will only get worse. We encourage the city to implement new waste management enforcement codes that ensure that ordinances are complete and fully developed before adding 18 new restaurants and businesses to the square.
By signing the petition, you agree the dumpsters should be moved in all fairness and best interest for "The House of Lu" restaurant and myself as well a public health risks and by instagating healthier and a more pleasing aesthetic solution for all the dumpsters in the downtown area.
