In the hallways of our school building, pejorative language and slurs are thrown left and right without people thinking twice about it. In surveys that we have sent out to our peers, we found an unsettling amount of students affected by this problem to which several said that pejorative language is one of the biggest problems within our schools.  Some students support the use of the disturbing language while others are bystanders. We want to change this. We want our fellow peers to become up-standers within our school community. We believe that’s its our responsibility as students to start the change with our Generation Citizen Project. To create this change, we want to incorporate the ‘No Place for Hate’ Program. To learn about this program please watch the video linked!

NO PLACE FOR HATE

We need this program in our schools so please, Methuen High Students, Parents, and Teachers, sign this petition!
