unfair school dress codes
Men and boys should be taught to control themselves, girls shouldn’t be taught to cover up. They are all 5-18 being sexualized when men and boys could learn how to get ahold of theirselves. Women and girls shouldn’t have time taken out of their education because a male is ‘distracted’. The male should learn how to focus. This problem could be solved by easing up on the dress code and making them more fair. The boys and girls dress code should be the same, no hats, no shirts with explicit language or drugs. They’re shouldn’t be a difference between the boys and girls dress code. It’s unfair and disgusting that girls are taught at such a young age that they need to cover up because men are around. Men need to learn how to get control of themselves and not sexualize YOUNG woman at that. Dress codes teach rape culture and are very unhealthy stereotypes. This needs to be fixed asap. Girls are losing education due to their shorts being a little too short, or their shoulders showing. How are shoulders attractive or distracting in anyway, especially when they’re shoulders resting on the body of a child. The dress code should be revised and edited to be fair between boys and girls, not just attacking girls for something they can’t control.
