MESC Change started this petition to Students and

For too long, Mount Eliza Secondary College has not prioritised student well-being over things such as uniform policies, rules and restrictions and how the community views our school from the outside.

MESC is a school in which students have hardly any, to absolutely no say in decisions that have a huge bearing on their well-being and school experience. The majority of policies implemented are done so with the best interests of onlookers of the school in mind, instead of the students that have to adhere to these policies. An example of one of these policies is the blazer policy, in which students are required to wear their hot, uncomfortable, non ventilated polyester blazers when walking or bike riding to and from school, in order to project a good "school image" to the Mount Eliza community, whilst jeopardising the comfort of students who attend the school.

We need your help in order to make a change at our school so that student voices can be heard, so please make a quick contribution by signing our petition, your opinion is extremely valuable.
