I support graduate employees, call for safe workplaces, and recognize the dire need to provide health coverage for those working at the lowest pay scales of universities.

As a former NMU graduate student in the biology, I fully support the current graduate employees. NMU has a responsibility to protect more than just ensuring retention and recruitment of their undergraduate students for money.

I hardly even know what to say to administrators who ask anyone but especially graduate students or adjunct faculty to teach f2f in a pandemic without even covering health insurance. It's vile.

The MSU Graduate Employees Union stands with the NMU graduate students in their demands. Every graduate worker deserves safe working conditions, fair pay, and access to health insurance.

I’m signing because I’m a grad student and grad students deserve pay that covers the cost of living, health insurance, and the choice to teach as they feel comfortable, period, but especially during a pandemic.
