Student’s of Keele University to be refunded for missed lectures during strikes

As the Univeristy strikes approach many students and I feel as though the only group negatively affected, are the students. Although we support the lecturers, we feel as though we should be refunded for the hours missed as Student Finance England has already paid for the semester on our behalf.
The average student pays about £300 a week to attend the university, with the two weeks of strikes we demand that each student receives £600 in compensation, either taken off our debt or more preferably a bank transfer.
These strikes are not only unfair to the students, but is stealing money away from a group of people who don’t have much to begin with.
