Due to the corona virus pandemic we have seen most universities in and around the country result to an online based education system. This began around March and has continued onto this academic (2020/2021)year. Whilst we are aware universities have to adhere to government guidelines of social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is still not justifiable that universities are continuing to issue tuition invoices for this academic year at the same tuition fee of £9,250 for home students and much more for international students !

Students are still being charged full tuition fee’s for essentially doing an online course. Where students are automatically missing out on most of their university experience whether that be attending and participating in lectures, meeting personal advisors, receiving direct feedback in person about a piece of work, tutorial times were students often make the most progress. Some universities have taken action and lowered the tuition fees to as low as £1000 for home students, and I have made this petition so that every single university takes action and lowers all tuition fees for students ( home and international) having to do their course this year online like myself. So sign now and STOP universities charging students full tuition fees for not even half the experience !
