After rechristening the city of Allahabad into Prayagraj, IIIT Allahabad, an institute of national importance and international recognition is likely to be renamed as IIIT Prayagraj. This will severely affect the brand name of the college and the recognition the college gets all over the world. Our goal is to keep the name of the college intact like IIT-Bombay, IIT Madras, etc.
