Stop looting MBA aspirants

Every year more than 2,00,000 MBA aspirants write several exams to advance their careers and nation along with them. More famous examinations include Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management). Many of the prestigious MBA colleges accept the results of CAT examination for their admissions.
However, the most surprising thing is that for all these institutes who don't conduct examination, but, only conduct Group Discussions & Personal Interview, charge almost same fee as for CAT exam. Also, most of these institutes have application cut-off prior to the results of the CAT examination, forcing MBA aspirants to fill many a forms just to ensure that they are not left out of any opportunity due to the uncertainties associated with any examination.
I myself had appeared for MBA examinations. First time I didn't applied in too many colleges, because I was not much confident of the result and during second chance, I didn't applied to may colleges as I was very confident of the result. However, third time I didn't left anything to chance and spent several thousand on just the forms of various colleges. It really pained me that I needed to spent so much money on the forms, when these should be filled after the announcement of the results. Compare it to the class XII examinations and if students had to fill all the colleges forms, in March well before the announcement of the results in May.
That’s why I, started this petition asking the Ministry of Human Resource Development to
- Make it mandatory to all the MBA institutes that no MBA Institute admission forms cut-off date should be prior to result of admission test they would concur with.
- Look in the matter of exorbitant admission forms charges charged by the Institutes
It is important that we all raise our voices and join our hands to stop any loot of hard earned money of citizens, be from the students, or any section of the society.
Sign my petition and ask the Ministry of Human Resource Development to end this practice by MBA Institutes.
