Why this petition matters

Started by BRANDY IX

December 15, students in SFUSD are going to be affected by a structural deficit of $125 million ($1.28 billion annually) as all schools will have their budgets cut.

Class sizes will get larger, elective classes (language, visual and performing arts, etc...) will be cut, and teachers will be fired.  The main cause is administrative and non-school site staffing level is too high for the expected enrollment every year.  Basically, SFUSD has too many people working that don't directly work with students!

We want no money cut from school sites and two school board members, Matthew Alexander and Mark Sanchez, have already figured out how this can be done!  Please support their plan of no school site money being cut by signing this petition.

Here's the plan in more detail.  Thank you for your support!
