For so many years, students have been facing the discrimination each and every day, discrimination is treating some people differently from others. It is not always unlawful after all, people are paid different wages depending on their status and skills. Our Group’s Purpose is to make the people be aware of “Discrimination”. Because sometimes they do this on purpose or by accident. Discrimination is not new in our society but we can make a change. We want to help and encourage those students out there who are a victim of discrimination to have the courage to speak out and stand against discrimination.
Our group aims to create a petition using social media like Facebook to help us achieve our goal. Our petition is worth your time and money because it is for our society that involves mainly the students. Many of us experience discrimination and we may not sometimes notice it or we get hurt by it but we just tend to ignore it and just shut our mouth up. We want to prevent the cause of this Discrimination little by little. Because change first happens to us, we tend to not notice that our words and actions can hurt someone.
The purpose of this is to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and to ensure that the work and educational environment which is fair, comfortable, and safe.
To prevent discrimination. To identify and eliminate persistent patterns of inequality associated with discrimination because people do discriminate against each other whether their actions are intentional or happen due to the lack of knowledge or intricate sociological triggers as well as societal delusions and personal ignorance.
The “Speak Out Against Discrimination” campaign aims to help those students out there who are a victim and who are not treated fairly in their schools. Most of the reasons why students discriminate their fellow student is given by their fear of difference, through ignorance, they want attention, they want to be cruel or they want to show that they are stronger than others. Their reason may also be because of disability, religion or belief, gender reassignment, early pregnancy, race and skin color. Our group also aims to spread a wider information about discrimination. Because it remains a common practice in which victims of it are ill-informed of their rights and the remedies available. We want to inform everyone about discrimination and the person you can call if you are experiencing discrimination who has the authority and someone who can help you speak out. We want to also help the victims to not be afraid to speak out. To help make this campaign possible, our group created a Facebook group to help promote and achieve our goals. We will be posting necessary information connected to our campaign. The scope of our project is to be able to reach the government, school’s administration, parents, teachers, and students to sign our petition.
