Our school, Jackson County High School, just released news that our parking spaces on campus will no longer be assigned, and will be on first-come, first-served bases. Not only are they charging $60 per pass, but in the past, the lack of spaces we are provided has been a problem. Numerous issues will result from this as the sophomores eventually receive their license and the tensions rise to get a spot in the morning. Students should not have to worry if they are going to be able to park or find a spot before school. It does not make sense for the problems that we are already facing.
