The obviously leftist agenda permeating many college campus and higher ed. administrations is alarming. I've discussed this with friends and family as their young go away from their conservative homes to start freshman year at liberal leaning colleges. The students are forewarned and hopefully prepared to sift through the BS.

I'm shocked that another professor is being hounded and harassed for speaking his mind--Professor McAdams' blog is well written and points out important problems on college campuses today, where things are rapidly becoming Orwellian.

I'm signing because there is no hope for academia if only trendy ideology is permissible the classroom. Real learning will always mean challenging our worldview. Unuversities should be leading the culture I terms of respect full and diverse dialogue, not showing us how to shut it down completely.

This is outrageous! How can this man's free speech be shut down, via firing him, all because he criticized a student teacher for shutting down a student's right to free speech?!

John McAdams served the academy for 40+ years. It is disgraceful to end his scholarly career over petty and trendy ideological fads.
