During MCO, Students are struggling to keep up with online classes, Assignments or even understanding what are they learning as some of them may have bad internet connection, lack a proper hardware or even unsuitable location to maintain productivity.

Some survey have made and shown shown that students are now extremely stressed out by the overloaded assignments and unable to keep track of their assignment. Mainly because of the bottleneck mentioned in the first paragraph. A few students mentioned that they have their personal life problems that needs to be settled first but because how short the deadline is to submit their work, they had to rush the work which in turns affects their GPA more than average students.

If these keeps going, their CGPA will be affected. My personal prediction is that the students fail rate will skyrocket which will affect university reputation. Students who have financial difficulty will face even more difficulty to pay the semester fees if they failed the semester.

We already voted in twitter that most students agreed to extend weeks rather than resume semester like usual via online class. But its unfortunately even with student's votes, its proven that administrator of uniKL still stick with their opinion rather than student's opinion even though uniKL established to educate us, students.

We understand Administrator tried their best for us, providing adobe license temporarily, A support counseling group for struggling students, UNI PAC, distributing groceries to students, etc etc. But, Overloaded assignments and lack of equipment support will show their GPA the same and that GPA will affect uniKL reputation to be one of the best university in the southeast asia.

We students wanted the semester to be paused until COVID-19 situation ended so our GPA and mental health won't be affect because of COVID-19. If administrator refused to do so, please come up with even better solution for struggling students. We hope that uniKL administrator will see the number of students signed this petition agreed to pause the semester and sympathize the struggling students.
