There are a large number of teenagers who want to become a Chef.  But all Culinary  courses across colleges in India have cutting,  cleaning and cooking non-vegetarian  food  compulsory. For children  who have lived their whole life as vegetarians,  this becomes the biggest hurdle in joining a Culinary  course.  A beginning has been made by offering vegetarian  practical in Hotel Management  Courses.  Now this should  be implemented  in all Culinary  courses.  This will make people aware of not only the health & environmental benefits but also how tasty vegetarian  food is. 

This will enable many aspiring chef's to pursue their dream of being creative with food, maybe even open up their own restaurant!!

World over awareness of the environmental, health benefits of being vegetarian besides being compassionate towards all life forms, is growing.
