We want to move to the new main campus for DP1 largely due to the following reasons: Safety- in many situations the students have been scared and their safety has been threatened. Bijlmer is known as a dangerous area in Amsterdam. Fireworks have gone off while students have been walking to and from public transport. People with bad intentions have approached the students and made us feel vulnerable. Our parents have expressed their concern about our safety as we walk to public transport or even step foot outside of the SE campus. The new main campus offers us more opportunity in terms of school productions, facilities and a larger school community. Students from SE were unable to participate in the school production due to the time it takes to commute to the main campus, us moving  would offer more opportunity. South East has limited space as there is and with a new grade moving into the school, this would put the students at more of a disadvantage in terms of study space and facilities. Well over 85% of the MYP5 F&G classes have agreed and given their reasons for why they want to move to the new main Campus.
