The dress code throughout Troup County School System is excessive and very targeted towards young women. Young Girls attending schools in our school system are being victimized and held accountable by actions accomplished by guys. This is unfair and just flat out not right. It is very understandable for certain extents of clothing to be unacceptable in schools, but not things like athletic shorts, and wearing fingertip length shirts with leggings. Also, some teachers at our schools like to pick and choose who to dress code based on girls body types, which is downright unethical. That is overall ridiculous. The dress code assigned by the Troup County School Board should be changed, and if one thing is going to be enforced, it should be enforced onto everyone.
