Bring Haystacks Back
Bring Haystacks Back
Students and faculty at Southern Adventist University,
In the past few weeks, we as a school have experienced many changes due to the pandemic. All of the changes have been beneficial and necessary for the continuing of in-person classes of our beloved school, except one. The arguably most detrimental of the changes has been the loss haystacks at our cafeteria.
As a member of the student body, I speak for the majority of my peers when I say that we have grown accustomed to certain amenities. Educational opportunities, spiritual nurturing, and basic dietary sustenance are all essential to the health of the whole student. I believe if we bring back haystacks, we will provide a needed alternate dietary option to a limited selection, as well as heighten the student body's morale. Haystacks are healthy and delicious, not to mention an Adventist defining meal.
Haystacks are a way to express creativity, individuality, and is sure to bring a smile to anyone. Haystacks represent many things coming together to make a beautiful symphony of diversity, just like we as students do here at Southern.
I implore you, as students and staff at Southern Adventist University, to stand with me to bring back Haystacks to your cafeteria.
