Recently, the University of Miskolc issued the stipends money to the international students at inconsistent periods. Sometimes the money is sent at the beginning of the month, and sometimes the delay can be until the middle of the following month. Last semester, students received September stipends on the 14th of October, while until now, we did not receive February stipends, even though we are in March already. Some students tried to ask the university about the delay, but no clear answers. According to the rules, the stipends should be sent by the end of February. Moreover, after asking students in other universities, we discovered that most Hungarian universities issued the stipends earlier in February and by the 10th at the latest. As students at the University of Miskolc, we struggle to pay rental fees or achieve daily life needs due to such delays.
