Many students of LPHS are tired of the dress code. It is sexist and supporting the idea that women should dress appropriately for the concentration of men. Our stomachs, shoulders, thighs, and chests are not sexual organs. If these NORMAL body parts are a distraction, YOU are the problem and should not be in a school environment. Our education and ability to be comfortable in what we wear is so important, and it should not be strained for the lack of male self control. Please sign this petition and help many students in our school feel safe and comfortable without having to be pulled out of class and in trouble for showing our skin. Women are not objects, so stop treating us like them.
