The IB has taken a justified decision that cancels the MYP E-Examinations due to the Coronavirus. This decision was taken by officials after closely understanding the advantages and disadvantages. The IB has stated that the final grades will be dependent on the predicted grades decided by the school. Indus International School has decided to conduct final examinations that will be taken into account for the predicted grades. This decision was taken rashly as the students have given 6 examinations(RCA, RCB and 4 Mock exams)which are already being taken into account for the predicted grades, having a 7th exam seems irrational and unnecessary. Along with this, since January, the students have been working hard giving examinations and this went on until March. The students were relieved after the final mock examinations ended in March as their next exams would be in May. However, now the school has decided to conduct examinations once more from April 20th. The students have only 19 days of preperation and will once again have to begin extensive studying. Moreover, these examinations are unnecessary as the school already has 6 other examinations to take into account. Sign this petition so that the school cancels these final exams and gives justice to the students.
