Philosophy is an incredibly important subject to many of the people that take it. It offers not only useful and life-long skills, but a different environment to learn and challenge yourself. It provides many students with a different way of interacting with the world around them and the students in our class. Year 12 is an instrumental year in our education, and having such a useful and versatile class with be extremely beneficial for the students of this school. 

Many of the students in the class agree that it is their favourite subject, and already there is a plan for a year 12 course, but the board refuses to acknowledge that this subject would be extremely useful in the students’ school life.
