There is at teacher at our school named Mrs, Lampe and she is an IB English teacher and an IB theory of knowledge (IB TOK) teacher. She is an absolutely amazing teacher and the most qualified for the job(s) recently, the principal/school has decided that she would no longer be teaching IB TOK. This is absolutely absurd and it would be detrimental to the student’s learning, including but not limited to those who are doing the full IB diploma, as they need the course to graduate with the IB diploma. Mrs. Lampe needs to teach IB TOK next year, and for as long as she remains at Princeton. She is an absolutely amazing teacher, and many of her students are devastated due to this unforeseen and unjust change. Many of the students who are signed up to take the class, signed up because they had her for IB english and want to have her as a teacher the following year. There are certain teachers that make the class amazing and engage you, all while pushing you to do your absolute best. Mrs. Lampe is that teacher for everyone. Sign the petition and let’s get Mrs. Lampe back to teaching IB TOK where she belongs.
