I am a senior in High School, so I am in the process of deciding where I want to go to college. I have many factors that influence where I will attend school, but cost is one of the biggest ones. I have always wanted to go to a big public out-of-state school. But then I saw the price is anywhere between 40,000-60,000, which is crazy for students to have to pay because they will be in debt for years after graduating. I think this needs to be changed because students deserve to start their life, after college, with not nearly as much debt as they will be in with paying for their college. Attending college is a stressful time for every student, and they should be focused on their studies and their changing life, not how they are going to afford the cost of attending their college.
