In these difficult times of a global pandemic, students are stressed enough with work, school and extracurricular activities. Nothing will make this school year normal, since it was virtual at the beginning. This is why it is essential to keep Wednesday as a somewhat normal routine for students. Many students get overwhelmed in school and have difficulty getting help. This is because students aren't allowed to come in early or stay after. Therefore, having this day serves as a time for students to be able to reach out for help. Not only this, but is serves as relief to those worried about covid, giving them a break from being surrounded by others. Having Wednesday as a virtual half day would help immensely to lessen student stress and offer better opportunities to get caught up on work and reach out for needed help.
