The Virus covid-19 or other known as the coronavirus is now identified as a global pandemic. This virus Is rapidly spreading throughout the world. Our main concern should be how can we limit the spread of this virus. There are more then enough reasons to close schools down in this time of caution. A big gathering of people could increase the chances of  catching the covid-19 virus, and school is a big gathering of a thousand and more people who can have contact with many people outside of school. This is a risk. A risk that puts countless lives in a health risk. Why haven’t schools closed down yet ? Is it cause teachers don’t want to lose money , because I wouldn’t. Or is it cause the system doesn’t want us to lose our education? There is other alternative ways of learning outside of school, these ways could be put into affect if necessary. I’n my opinion not until someone finally has the virus or not until someone has died because of the virus will schools or school districts decide to finally care. What more then a world pandemic that can threaten lives of people can catch the attention of school districts. There is a chance to prevent this if only people and schools take every possibility into mind and do something about it. In closing down schools we are taking precautions that could help stop the widespread of this inevitable virus until a cure or treatment is found . Officials state that social distancing should be placed in action and groups of no more then 6 people would be safe. Please help our students be safe.
