School is supposed to be a safe environment for all students, provide opportunities to learn without fear and be a place we can all call a second home. George S Henry, at this moment, is not a place that meets these standards. Parents and students want a change in our school. Many people have come up with the conclusion of having an officer on school premises at all times to ensure everyone's safety and well being. An officer will have every student think twice before committing a wrongful act and oversee all conflicts to ensure they are contained before they get out of hand. We believe with this action, the school will feel much safer and it will make a significant difference. By choosing to ignore these issues, we risk a bigger problem to occur. Parents and students feel that they aren't being heard. This petition allows their voices to be heard and understood. Let's make a change before it is too late.
