Lots of students & families can agree with the fact that our school uniform is uncomfortable/unstylish for some & some could honestly care less . I want to make this so that students can express themselves & still follow school guidelines & respect the “dress code” . Of course wearing uniform can still be an option for those who don’t mind wearing it but for those of us who don’t want to it would be nice to dress out you know? Why should we have to all wear the same thing? Why can’t we be ourselves & show off our styles & outfits? I think we should be able to . Lots of students would LOVE to so help me make a change those who agree can sign & those who don’t that’s fine but don’t ruin it for those of us that do . For the parents who may end up being against it think about it this way while your kid enjoys uniform why should other kids wear something they don’t want to wear all the time or something they feel doesn’t fit their personality? I want CHANGE ! i want to do something nobody else chose to do . I’m up for the challenge & I hope that this can get us somewhere . May I also add my input on a person level? LOTS of students including myself have a very limited variety of uniforms such as myself where as normal clothes I have a whole closet worth. Think of the students who have to wear the same outfit everyday & just wash it.. that’s not fair to them . & for those wondering how I’m choosing to go about this once it gets to a certain amount I will DEFINITELY talk to whoever I have to talk to speak on the situation even if it’s the school board . i want to make this happen . We need to be HEARD, LISTENED to . I’m not saying we will accomplish our goal but their is a HUGE possibility. once again all support is very appreciated thank you all very much ❤️.
