Adidas, a country we all know and love, has more going on behind the scenes that we may be led to believe. This large and mass producing company uses child labor, overwork, and underpay in its third world country factories. Workers are being forced to work 12 hour days and up to 70 hour weeks, while still receiving pay below the poverty line. The conditions are poor within the factories, and workers have been beat or threatened for even using the bathroom.
Adidas blatantly ignores and tolerates violations of the UDHR, articles 23 and 24, such as the rights to desirable work and joining Trade Unions.
By signing this petition you can stop the child labor and mistreatment of workers in Adidas factories, and take one step towards improving factories conditions and increasing pay. Each sign helps to form a better and safer world for workers.
