I want my school’s dress code to change, mainly the facial piercings rule. People normally get piercings to express themselves and make themselves feel unique, and when they get a piercing, it isnt cheap or free. Students here can get anything from 3 hours of after school detention to a day of ISS for simply having in their nose, septum, or any type of facial jewelry. Anyone here can tell you it is unfair and unnecessary in the dress code, because piercings dont affect any students learning abilities or environment. Please, whether you have a nose, lip, or no piercing at all, my school needs your help to change this rule.
