Our community college, Ocean County College, is discriminating against unvaccinated students taking on-campus classes. They have stated on their website that ONLY unvaccinated students need to test weekly for COVID-19, or they will be let go from their programs. This is discriminatory. If both vaccinated and unvaccinated people can spread COVID-19 , then why are only the unvaccinated required to take weekly testing? Why are only the unvaccinated subject to termination if they decline? If this is about public safety at the campus, ALL in - person students should need to be tested for COVID-19 weekly. This is obviously not about public health and safety. This is a clear indicator of discrimination against unvaccinated people. Join me in my petition to end discrimination at our community college.
