Good Day 

As students of South peninsula, we think that for the love of our school, teachers, our fellow class mates and their families, we feel that our school needs to close due to the high rise in Covid-19 cases. So many teachers and students are getting infected, hence some of them aren't even reporting their cases. Some learners and teachers aren't wearing masks properly and sanitizing regularly as they should. 

Many of us have to go home to our parents and elderly, which puts them at such a high risk of contracting the deadly virus. We've all suffered and went through so much already, and cannot afford to lose anyone else. We could possibly prevent the spread by staying at home and working from home on a daily bases. A few suggestions are that teachers could contact us via google meet or zoom and have online lessons with us.

In order for the Covid-19 cases to drop, please consider closing our school (even if its just a few days). We're literally begging you and depending on you. Personally we feel that we have the right to be heard and the right to a safe learning environment. We feel that we could prevent so many people from getting sick, if we close our school. As teenagers, we are major carriers of the delta virus, and this virus targets us. We might be able to fight it, but will our grandparents and parents be able to? Please take this petition into high consideration.
