Changing the School Dresscode

The school dresscode continues to objectify and oversexualize young female bodies. I want to change the dresscode in order to allow our shoulders to be exposed and our backs without older males commenting on what we are wearing. School should be a place for learning and if a male finds a women’s body distracting, then that is his own fault and he should learn self control rather than blaming the female and forcing her to “cover up”. I refuse to cover my body because of the fact that men can’t control where they look and how they look at female bodies.
