Student waste is a huge issue at Shippensburg University. Every year college students produce 640 pounds of trash! Our solution is to create a consignment shop where students can donate items throughout the semester. Some items include wall mirrors, mini fridges, microwaves, lamps, etc. This will no only reduce waste but save money for the students. The ideal location would be a room in the Ceddia Union Building. Our goal is reduce waste especially during peak time such as move-in and move-out.
