The switch to online schooling is simply not beneficial for students who opt for in-person classes. The format is overwhelming in a time of stress. Students should be focusing on the health of themselves and their families, not on trying to figure out how to maintain a passing grade for an online course that they didn’t sign up for. 

Many of the effected students struggle with online because they need the hands on experiences of in-class learning, often feeling frustrated, discouraged, and isolated with online. At a time of public isolation when students’ mental health has started to slip, this is not what they should need to worry about.
