This petition serves to end the $90 fee being imposed on us students. Given the pandemic of COVID-19 we are not able to continue classes regularly as we'd all like to. However, there is no reason why we should be forced to pay the $90 for classes that have to be online in order to enforce social distancing. We did not opt for online courses nor do we have a choice in the matter. FIU is being unreasonable and they are taking advantage of the opportunity to make more money from us. We are all experiencing economic setbacks. It's bad enough that they have not reduced the school fee for us, or given REASONABLE extensions to pay the school fees, but we will NOT stand for extra fees in uncontrollable situations. Sign the petition to remove this unnecessary fee.
