Everybody knows the music hall has a unisex staff room, the girls bathroom, the boys bathroom, and next to the boys bathroom, there is another bathroom with no sign. I, as well as many other students, believed that it was a Unisex student bathroom, but the other day I overheard 3 admins complaining about it being unlocked all the time. They locked it back up and now every time I go to the bathroom hall, it's locked. Having at least ONE unisex stall/bathroom would be beneficial to supporting students who do not feel comfortable being in a bathroom with multiple people. Also, some students at our school identify as nonbinary, other students are transgender, and some are uncomfortable being in the bathroom of their gender identity, so it helps Hylton to support those students and be as inclusive as possible. It's also just a normal thing that most people are used to having available to them so I think it should be available for people who feel more comfortable using the bathroom without an audience.
