One of my friends have spent a daily average on their screen for 23 hours and 26 minutes on their phone and I am dearly concerned about her physical healthier because she isn't getting enough sleep nor is she having enough energy in the day to be physically awake. The reason why I care is that I care for my friends and I would not want them to go to school tired and unmotivated. If you were me you would probably do the same thing. I would like this to stop because everyone deserves the correct amount of sleep suggested (7 to 12 hours). Youths must need the correct amount of sleep to concentrate in class, socially interact with family, friends, peers and teachers as well as physically and mentally motivated for physical activities. This petition will help start making a change for teens to get the correct amount of sleep and I want to start with my friend who spends a daily average on their screen for 24 hours and 26 minutes on their phone. Personally, I don't think this is very healthy for adolescences who go to school, commit to extracurricular activities and have other problems and challenges to face. If we end up loosing, my friend and other youths will be unable to get the correct and suggested amount of sleep. Therefore, you should sign this petition.
