Murals in Women's Restrooms at ARHS

Murals in Women's Restrooms at ARHS
Archbishop Riordan has had an issue with writing written on the wall trying to convey their concern for social issues and conflict with the staff. A group of students has come together to organize feminist and Marianist murals being painted on the bathroom walls to send our message of racial and gender equality. This is a way to have our beliefs and messages spread across the student body and administration. However, Ms. OG- the dean of women- has protested this idea because she thinks "people will just write over it." A student-made mural in the bathroom would give our students a sense of freedom and to finally feel like our voices are heard. Even if students write over the murals, it would still continue without them, so what is there to lose? Sign this petition if you want murals painted in the women's bathrooms.
