Hello, me and the Semester 2 and 3 students of Polytechnic Banting Selangor do not agree to going to polytechnic when we get no benefits and risk our health!

          Our health! Covid 19 is still out there and running strong. We are at home safe and recovering from this pandemic, and putting us in a hostel locked in together is literally the worst thing you can do. We already did a short sem preparing us for a fully online next semester and lost our holiday. We also have no practical this semester which would make the decision to go back unnecessary.

          A lot of students have time tables which allows them to work and most of them have gone into full time jobs while studying. Mostly because the need to! Which makes this last minute announcement terrible. Especially people living far away!

         Semester 2 and 3 students going to Poli is just very much unnecessary, because there are no positives, we have sacrificed our holiday with a short sem, we will be heavily risking our health, we will be wasting time since our schedules have half days empty that we use to work, and we would throwing away money that could help us recover and come to the next semester. 

          We would be risking and throwing away a lot for no apparent reason. Plus there is almost a 100% chance that there will be Covid 19 positive students and of course, some classes need to be there for lab works, but we don't that and it will be utterly unnecessary for to even be there. 

        Please don't let us throw away so much for no reason! We will come back next semester, with drastically lesser health risk, after getting enough money to recover,  full of motivation and thrive to do our labs and classes with excellence, and most importantly we'll actually be happy to be there :)
