To officially recognize Cell 91 as a campus club/organization

This petition made change with 121 supporters!

Cell 91 is a Roman Catholic Theology club that promotes Catholic values emphasized in the teachings and writings of Saint John Paul II. These values include chastity before marriage, traditional family as taught by the Roman Catholic Church and genuine love that is not egocentric but rather love that honors the dignity of each and every person wholly. Cell 91 is a discussion-based club that welcomes all sides to the table to engage in respectful dialogue on these matters. Everyone and anyone is welcome to take part in meetings and events. A group of students has been trying to get this club approved by the Student Government Association (SGA) at Dominican University in River Forest, IL. since March of 2014. SGA denied recognition to Cell 91 for illegitimate reasons, for example, claiming that the club is exclusive and that these values are already part of University Ministry, and these claims are simply untrue. Please sign this petition if you support that Cell 91 has the right to exist on our campus just like every other club on our campus. By signing this petition you are not agreeing with our mission but simply recognizing that Cell 91 has the right to be approved and should be approved as an official club on our campus.
