The students of Lincoln school who do not feel comfortable wearing a skirt usually wear pants, but in early fall and spring, it can be almost unbearable to wear pants because of the heat. We request to have khaki shorts added to the uniform list. We understand the dean’s resent to the uniform change, as she doesn’t want students wearing extremely short shorts, but we would ask that a mandatory 9 inch inseam policy be added to insure that students wear long khaki shorts that are school appropriate. This policy change would allow many students at Lincoln to be more comfortable in school and feel free to wear whatever clothes they would like.
