Petition to Offer Criminal Pre Trial Advocacy to Evening Students

Petition to Offer Criminal Pre Trial Advocacy to Evening Students
Hey all! As you may know, our school has a wonderful Criminal Justice Certificate Program (CJCP) sponsored by Professor Rapping. "The CJCP curriculum prepares graduates to practice criminal law."
The courses for the CJCP and a majority of courses essential to learning the skills for the criminal law field are scheduled during the day. The reason, we are told, is that not enough evening students are interested in these courses.
The reason for the Petition is to get enough interest for AJMLS to offer Criminal Pre-Trial Advocacy this Spring 2022 to the evening section (see course description below). Please sign your name if you are interested in taking this course during the Spring 2022 and will be able to. (To note, 1Ls will not be able to take this during the 1L year due to prerequisites)
Pre-Trial Advocacy Course Description:
In this course, students will engage in pretrial litigation through which they will be required to draft motions and responses relating to issues in the case and conduct hearings on the motions. In addition to drafting and arguing pretrial motions, students may be required to draft jury instructions and/or trial briefs. This course will satisfy the upper division writing requirement. (3 hrs)
